I have been interested in Japanese animation since I was introduced to Dragonball Z and Pokemon during my first year in High School. Ever since then it has really stuck on me. The thing I like most about Japanese animation is how instantly recognisable it is. I also like the way that anime uses deep and emotional situations that require a good amount of critical thinking skills; something that American animation has all but lost in it's quest to entertain. As such, I also became interested in the many voice talents that anime has and am inspired to want to be a great voice actor like Vic Mignonga, Kyle Hebert, and many others. I hope this series will eventually get me into the realm of voice acting in anime someday.
I also love video games and have been playing them since I was five years old with the Nintendo Entertainment System. So a few years later, a collage friend of mine showed me a internet-based game review Series called the Angery Video Game Nerd; back then called the Angery Nintendo Nerd. That series in turn introduced me to another web series called the Nostalgia Critic. Both shows were hilarious, which inspired me to try my hand at reviewing anime in humorous light. You may notice that I don't just joke about bad anime shows, but good shows as well, including some of my all time favorites. So take a look around and enjoy the rest of this site. I hope that not only will you learn something about your favorite or least favorite anime shows, but also get in a few laughs along the way.
